Please contact us with briefs (submissions) to add to governing.nz.

We ask that you focus on your area of expertise, and identify if your briefing paper is about:

• Problem: Something is wrong with government that can be fixed
• Solution: A new idea that is doable and makes life better
• Governing: Educating the official about an issue – in some cases you should write two essays. One is educational so the official can understand the context. It may be something they have not thought about, or lack facts. Then write the brief on the problem or solution.

The editors will accept, reject or return (with recommendations) your brief, and only publish the final draft you approve. Please include your copyright statement, although we prefer writing that is released into the public domain, so the idea is not owned by anyone.
